I needed to see this. I'm a night shift nurse, and although I only work three days a week, I feel horrible sleeping in and leaving my 12 and 7 yr old unattended for while I sleep. I'm always sure to have food and drinks that are easy to grab or prepare ( microwaveable foods, sandwich stuff). Regardless, I feel so guilty, and reading these comments helps me realize that maybe I'm not a terrible mom at all.

Your not lazy your smart, i know moms that would let there kids starve untill they fell like getting up after a night out. Your doing a wonderful job getting your well needed rest after a hard days work while making sure your babies are feed. Your not just a mom your super mom😊❤keep up the good work.👍😘🌟

Find it funny how that’s hard when you don’t even have to work and think about childcare think about having enough money to get formula etc. That’s not even discussed having to pack up a whole house by yourself because your husband is not going to help and you can’t afford a divorce and you need to try to find a cheaper place to stay, but you’re unable to so you have to get everything packed into a storage unit and live with your dad. Can’t get a different job because this job is a bit more lenient with your child around. Etc etc.. yeah. Keeping up twins is hard, but not as hard as trying to do it by yourself while trying to get money to pay the ridiculous amount of money it is to have a child. Year and a half later and still haven’t paid much much towards the hospital bill.
